I personally believe evil is nature not nurture, I am sure someone will come along with tech speak, and speak that is all fancy, I am hoping that maybe I am wrong, in the hope of changing my path, but I never set out to be an evil bitch, hence saying its nurture not nature!!

I'd say human nurture is evil and has been evil. I hope it will change. People can be extraordinarily compassionate and lucid about the balance of nature, and their brains hold the capability of creating a beautiful coexistence with all species, also to solve all the existing problems that humans have created. Abuse and neglect (which is everydamnwhere) is what makes these brilliant machines lost, angry, and not even trying to ameliorate things.

I think we are born for the capacity to go either way, so if you get good enough parenting most likely u will have been socialized well enough that u can behave mostly in socially acceptable ways and you will likely lead a decent effective life. But when this goes wrong in the first three years of life and much of your childhood that's when people turn out not so great. Good and evil does exist and we have to be taught and modeled to want to be good when young otherwise we can fall into the traps of evil. I feel like it was easy for me to become inhabited by the devil because I was not aware that there is objective moral right and wrong. If u don't know why something is right or wrong or what is right or wrong behavior you're really going to fuck your life up. It's not always the case that bad deeds are punished right away, it usually takes time before all the wrong shit u have done finally catches up with u. That's when u finally realize that hell exists right here on earth and it's your life that has become hell.

Human nature is gentle, caring, demanding comfort and dignity for all.

I would say humans are first and foremost animals so they would have the capacity to do evil things in the name of survival just like every other animal. Some may have some moral instinct but to most it's usually a learning process to treat others well and all that.

I think human evil can be from both nature and nurture. I hate the saying 'if you've been abused, you're more than likely to abuse yourself' (paraphrased a lot) but take it to be true as so many experts have said it. Having said that I believe plenty of people who have been abused don't turn into abusers. Also, there's so many people who've been brought up in loving, wonderful families that still turn bad.
I think we all have the capacity for both good and bad, it's what we choose to do that matters.

Good. With a few exceptions, even bad people justify to themselves why they're doing a certain act (i.e. I need to kill this dude to fend for myself and my family).

Evil. Humans are born selfish and learn care later on in life. Well, some do. Some just stay horrible forever. Not saying it isn't possible for humans do be loving, but it seems like they don't really start off that way.

I'd say we're all born neutral until we're raised or influenced to be good or evil.
