Discussion How would you weight the SN if you are in hotel room?

Hello I was wondering how do you weight the SN if you are for example in a hotel room and you have the SN and meto ready ? Will you use some kind of small weighing-machine or smth? Because I don't own it and you can't really count on spoon or smth like that

grab a pocket digital scale from a shop/amazon

edit: make it it does 0.01g scale so that it is accurate - got mine from amazon for £6 and it came next day

I'm in the US. A local Bed bath Beyond sells scales. $30 for cheapest scale. I plan on buying it to measure the SN, then returning it. I bought 2 bottles of SN just for this purpose so that after I open one, i don't have to worry about it degrading since ill have the other one.

Why not weigh it at home, put it in some airtight plastic wrap or similar.

Do you think there is a good chance it would weigh the same as regular sea salt - I was gonna weigh that at home & see how many tablespoons it is- then just take a spoon. I don't want to steal the kitchen scales that don't belong to me. And can't be ordering much more online. Just a thought.

i think 25g is just over 7 (uk) teaspoons

All sarcasm aside, lots of sketchy gas stations and convenience stores have scales. Head shops too.

What's a head shop? Weed? The less I can have in a bag the better- less chances of being questions/risk of being searched etc. I can hide a spoon in my pocket!

I don't know what country you are in, in terms of measuring, but a couple of nights ago one member in the USA who did not have scales used 2 level tablespoons to measure her SN. You can just ask your search bar: How many teaspoons (or whatever you have, such as a teaspoon) are in 2 grams? You will then know the measurement.

Do what the second comment says. Get a small digital scale from amazon / ebay or a local store or anywhere. Bring that, a spoon, a glass and bottled water (at least 1.5 L because you have other meds to take and the SN may make you thirsty) with you to the hotel room for your SN preparation.

Hey- I just tested 7 teaspoons of sea salt & that was pretty much spot on 25g! Grt. Looks like SO much salt for such a tiny amount of water- guess that is the whole point- very concentrated!

There are very small digital scales that are only slightly bigger than a matchbox.The one I had even had a fake slipcover to make it look like a matchbox. Easily found online at the sources already mentioned.

head shops are kind of a coverall term for tobacco shops but I'd venture to say weed shops have them too
