Help How to write a suicide letter

Can somebody give me advice on the above. Its for everyone I know. I don't know how to write it because I know nobody cares or loves me but I want them to know how I came to my decision.

I think the best way is to just stop caring about how it turns out, to stop caring if you even express yourself well enough, just write what you feel best justifies your decision and your thoughts behind it. You can start writing and later on as your mind gets more into it, edit parts that you now see could've been written better.

Brainstorm everything that comes to mind, and then put it into a proper letter.

I've written loads, writing a new one every week. Don't overthink it, just write the reasons that lead you to this decision and if you want to say anything else (such as thank you to so and so for being nice) then now is the time. Personally I do recommend saying something like "it's not your fault" because you don't want your friends/family to feel like it was their fault if it wasn't (although ofc I don't know your situation)

Well then not to be horrible, but why do you even want to write a suicide note if you feel no one would care

I often look through R/Suicidebereavement as it gives an accurate picture to what loved ones will be feeling/the sort of questions they will have. I add the my note/memo what I think would help my family understand a bit more.

If your family don't care about you and are your reason for doing it, I'd write it in my letter. I dunno if it's just me but I feel better writing down a reason. If your plan doesn't look obvious, I'd write that you are in fact attempting to die and it was your choice to do what you did. When I thought of writing mine, I didn't want anyone to think somebody murdered me or pressured me into suicide so I wrote it just in case.

I've written about 20, all of which ended up in the shredder. Best advice I could give, which I didn't follow myself, is just let it flow. Don't try and make it essay worthy, just go on a tangent if needed and give up when you think you've said everything you wanted. I've kept mine to a single piece of A4. The first few I wrote were 7/8 pages long, that's not a suicide note it's a novella, it'd have whoever reads it reaching for the sleeping tablets themselves.

I want them to realise why I did it so they won't be able to tell the world lies. I want to leave something behind as otherwise no one will remember me.
