how to say that ill miss someone without guilting???

my friend is going to ctb soon and i want to tell them how grateful i am for their company and that ill really fucking miss them..... but i feel that this is guilting and may make them step down against their true will (to die) out of pure guilt.

what do u think?? should my thank you just be guiding them to die safely? sorry

Assuming they're not rushing into it and that you're sure that they are ready..

Perhaps you could tell them that you're thankful for the time you've had together, you're grateful for their friendship, and that although you'll miss them, you completely understand and respect their choice.

Try to word it in your own way of course, but in such a way that you're not focusing on how much you'll miss them, but rather how thankful you are to have had the honor of their companionship and that you support their choice.

This is my opinion of course. By all means, decide what you think would be best.

If they're serious I would tell them how much they meant to me. I wouldn't care if it guilt trips them even though it might. I won't tell anyone or stop them. I would just get the message across about how much they meant to me as I would never see them again.

But that is me. Perhaps you shouldn't be too pushy on telling them how much you will miss them. But whatever you say to them I wish you luck.
