Why do you want to play with Death?
I think as so many others I am scared when facing the thought of ctb and I'm in a dark place. As of right now I am going to ctb sometime in the futur as I can't take it anymore. I have read that a lot of people get some closure from the experience ie. not fearing death anymore.

If I am a little incongruent it is because I have been drinking today because shit hit the fan badly.

Thanks for asking Symbiote
Would 4g be enough?

The best way to have a NDE (the way you may want to experience it, I suppose) is by inducing a massive cardio-respiratory failure and at the same time keep your conscience alive (without losing consciousness in a quick way). Not so easy to achieve and, also, I'm not sure you really want to experience something like it: it's not just about "that beautiful light"; before you get there you may experience lot of mental pain and, if you come back, have huge traumatic problems (at least this is what happened in my case). If bad luck is on your side you could also have permanent brain damage. Not something you want to play with.

That makes sense Nexuno. I have just read a lot of people saying that using SN would not cause permanent damage if you survive it/are rescued.

Regarding you personal trauma, if I may ask, what are you referring to(hope it is okay you can't just say no if it is too much)?

You can have a type of NDE with mushrooms or dmt or Ayahuasca Tea. Then the drug will just wear off and you won't risk your health. It can be heavy though. Bring a teddy bear a pen and a blanket.

But the medical conditions necessary to have a NDE can cause permanent damages. So you either are not in the "flatline zone" or, if you are, you are at risk.

Well after that experience my life changed. For a couple of years I had a weird neurological condition that no one has been able to define medically, and I've spent those years living as a guinea pig on the edge of madness. After that I developed huge anxiety/panic attack problems that ruined my life (when I say "panic attacks" I mean REAL panic attacks, that actually are rare). On the other hand the experience itself has been also "positive" (at least for my personal "research" on the nature of the mind and its relation with death); yet I would have preferred not to come back. The idea to go through all that once again it's what scare me the most. I really hope to totally lose my "sense of I" the next time.

That sounds horrible, especially given that it has been years you have had to fight although good to hear that you got something "positive" out of the experience by some measure. Nexuno thanks for sharing as it's definanlty something to think about and I hope you are doing better/it's more bearable now.

I think before trying to "conquer" death like we all do here, it would do a whole lot of good for these I individuals to do phychs or hallucinogenic drugs. Small doses first always. The point is you see what in really inside you. You also definitely get a taste of what made you and where we might he going. On the up side these drugs can also have the religious/spiritual effect of making people not want to CTB any more. It can give the user/experiencer a purpose and help them want to keep on. It works wonders for depression (Terrence Mckinna the mushroom man) which is why prolifers and pharma companies dont want us to have access or knowledge of this. Anything that can help people like pcp back in its infancy is quickly pulled from the table and kept there. You can grow mushrooms in a jar and go from very small doses to larger ones all by yourself. Your depression will thank you for it. Do very low doses ( 0.5 of a gram or less) a real dose is about 1.5 to 2 grams. After that people who do 3 grams or more report NDE type of experience but those 8-12 hours of intense experiences can break your heart and hurt someones psyche/demeanor. Thats why I would always recommend a very small dose and grow from there. Also its recommended to wait a week or two before the next dose so you would give yourself time to grow over the course of half a year of experiences to share with friends or just keep to yourself and reflect on your troubles and or happiness.

Thanks a lot GarageKarate07 for your input. The journy one can go on when using psycadelics can be profound. As of late I have listend a lot to Terrence Mckinna as well as Rupert Sheldrake(and others). All in all I find their different perspectives fascinating

Thanks mate. Let's say that after a couple of decades I get used to a lot of things, so yes it's more bearable!

I think it would be wiser to try a breakthrough dose of DMT than to attempt parasuicide like that considering the risks. While SN is not guranteed to kill you with an approximate 7/10 factor, it's still not worth fucking around just for a near death experience.
Oh shit... someone already beat me to it.
