How to do sn purity with tap water

Can we do the sn purity test with the tap/mineral water and if so, how? Can anyone explain it to me briefly?

You can't use tap water because it ain't pure so it may alter the final result. Best to use lab grade testing water.

You sure? Nor even the package drinking mineral water? I read somewhere that you can do that. That's why I am asking.

Not really, but I did purchased it anyway. My question is if sn purity test can be done with mineral/tap water as well?
