How to check if a site is safe?

I will not post the site, but i think i found a site to buy SN. It looks cheap, doesn't requires you to be a company, it's on my country (spain), so It would be a national ship. no borders/customs. It looks i could buy.

But i'm in doubt. It could be a fake site. How i check if its legit?

PD: i don't mind paying for Sn and not receiving it, but getting hacked would be horrible.

safe as in do they contain malwares or virus in that case
maybe check on https://www.virustotal.com/
its quite reliable for me tho sometimes it does detect some stuff on websites which i think are kinda safe but yeah most of the times if majority of the sources dont detect anything i would say relatively safe
tho if you mean it as in if it can lead to you getting tracked and stuff by the govt idk i mean the govt probably can find out everything it wants about us anyway

Depends on how you'll pay. If you're going with a regular card, I'd suggest these options:

1. credit card with fraud protection for future possible unauthorised transactions.
2. One time use card or account with only the amount you will pay, then discard the card/account.

Your device is fine as long as nothing is installed through said site. Use Ublock or a browser that blocks the nasties. If you're super paranoid, use a burner device or VM with the same precautions for extra safety.

As another commenter said, VirusTotal is an option, but don't rely solely on it. Not every single harmful thing is registered on there, and it can be false negative/positive.

But it depends on what you mean by hacking.
You can also search up the age of the website to get an idea. If you believe it's a legit store, you can look up if they are a registered business.

Just don't share your ID/passport/drivers license. The seller will have payment info and delivery info. How you want to deal with it depends on your options and how accessible they are. Don't log in with anything (Google etc.) on the website if requested. Be wary of the URL. Checkouts can also be sketchy. If you're worried about possibly revealing payment info, use options mentioned above, or things like a Visa giftcard etc.

By hackinng i meant i don't want my mail pass, credit card, credentials or so.

I think i'll search for a one-time use cc or something like that. (And check the stuff you said above).

I don't mind getting tracked by my gov, I only dont want my CC or credemtials stolen

I use Firefox Relay if I want stuff directly to my main email. You get multiple emails addresses you can use to mask the main one you use, it's free. That or creating a burner email without a repeated password or information that might link to another email.

Saved my ass from a bunch of spam from that.

Although weird that they sell it so obviously without regulations, if you see a Klarna icon (lol), you can use that, or their own one-time use card if they're a real business.

Also, as for address it ships to. Since it's within the country, a PO-box or shipping to a locker would be an easier option without giving out that info. The only thing you would have to share is your name in that case.

XD the address was never a problem. I've had a mailbox with Mailboxes (that's the company name XD) for a while now. I got it because I was going to buy stuff online and I didn't know if there will be someone at home, and I realized that if I rented a mailbox, i could use it for when I ordered of "my substance of choice"
