Help How to anchor belt?

So I have my whole setup ready and the only thing I need is to anchor the belt and I'm not sure how to do that. So one side is held by a carabineer through the belt loop and the other side that tightens/loosens the belt just needs a place to anchor to, there's another carabineer that I would imagine to work if I could fit one of the belt holes to keep it in place but the belt holes seem to be too small

Why can't you get a rope thats rated for over your specific weight?

A sturdy rope costs $15-20. You could beg for that on the street. Or just steal it.. not sure how you morally feel about that.

By all means use the belt but you're making a big gamble.
