Help How reliable is long drop hanging?

If I use a hangman's noose keep it at the front of my face and make a 2 meter jump with a 10cm rope, will it guarantee death?

If you do it right it's very reliable but it's not straightforward.

Supposing the rope is strong enough, the knots are secure, and the anchor point can stand many times your weight & isn't likely to buckle, you'll be quite dead within minutes.
