If you are someone you know is autistic, can you tell me the approx age of their parents? Is the biological father significantly older than the biological mother?

There's research that shows older men who have babies with younger women have a much higher chance of the baby having mental illnesses like autism, ADHD, schizophrenia etc.

There's some biological price to be paid for an older man mating with a much younger woman it seems. What does your anecdotal observation look like in this regard?

I'm autistic, and my father and mother were 29 and 36 respectively when I was born. The studies you mentioned are interesting. I had always heard that having the mother be significantly older resulted in an increased risk of mental health issues and/or birth defects.

I'm autistic and my parents are almost the same age, ~1 year difference

I am autistic and both parents were born in the same year - 4 months apart. None of my siblings are autistic. But my parents were significantly older by the time I was born - there were both 37 years old.
