I'm really not in so well state to read megathread, that's why I'm asking here now.

There are people succesfully did this with doorknob right? And if I don't asphxyate, I probably won't notice much pain. But how much risk I'm taking by choosing this method?

After you pass out, you can only survive if you are found or the rope breaks. Brain damage is a very real possibility if that happens. Takes about 15 minutes to die.

You need to read about all the failed hanging attempts here, there are many.

Please be carefull. You can do more damage if you dont do it right. Take a few minutes to read at least some of the info in the hanging megathread.
