I keep forgetting mine as of late, which is somewhat unlike me because I'm a lucid dreamer. Maybe I've been going so into the flow of it I've lost my touch.

the last one I remember, I killed myself (nice), but then one of my friends went on a train carriage to some red factory to get voluntarily changed into escargot because he was sad about me dying or something. (Not so nice) The train driver looked a bit like chef mungus or whatever his name was. And then some of my other friends were eating chicken nuggets and giving sage life advice that I no longer remember. I am still craving chicken nuggets.

I have given up looking for meaning in my dreams as this is yet to be my weirdest dream - they're often much wilder.

what about you lot?

edit: this is in suicide discussion as my example included suicide but also because dreams can often end up nightmares or be impacted by suicidal thoughts, so.

Idk, sometimes I remember my dreams, sometimes not. I woke up this morning remembering my last one though: I was in a building when zombies started streaming in, attacking people. The person I'm currently mourning irl suddenly turned to me & said we should split up to escape & just meet at a place later on. They took of before I could argue back & all I could do was watch their back as they ran away.
The scene changed and I somehow escaped and was asking a sheriff in a bus stop for directions for our meeting place. Sheriff gave confusing directions but luckily said he was headed near that place & said we could go together. We came to a camping ground that looked like a refugee center for kids then I woke up.

I...could mainly understand how I got some elements in my dream: I'm still grieving, & I was just reading a zombie apocalypse graphic novel just before sleeping haha

I have been able to remember dreams after making efforts, keeping a journal, etc. I only remember two or three dreams throughout my life that I didn't need to make an effort to remember. I had one where I was a young child, I dreamt that my parents apartment was on fire and I put the fire out with a vacuum cleaner :pfff: :pfff: :pfff:. Another one was where everyone in my family was kidnapped by a dentist and it evolved to an epic shootout between me and the dentist.

I usually forget my dreams or they're too weird to mean anything, but lately I keep having intrusive dreams about men other than the LDR boyfriend I haven't seen in more than a year. It tortures me that they're not as intrusive as I'd like them to be.

I've been dreaming about death, self harm and spiders a lot recently, as my brain is pretty confused right now.

I almost always either don't remember my dreams or have nightmares. Usually about people trying to kill me or me having to defend myself from being murdered, killing the murderer in self defense, and then being hunted down by society as a murderer so they can put me to death or some shit.

My favorite dreams are where I'm being hunted by monsters, or where I'm a monster hunting people. The dreams that make me feel things. Even if it's one of those nightmares where I partially wake up, realise that I'm awake and can see the outlines of my bedroom, but the nightmare keeps playing as if it were real life and I can't move my body.

I remember two disturbing dreams.

1. I was in the theater stage and the spectators was my friends, family and people from my work.
In the ground by my side had a knife. The spectators are silent, but angry with me.
I looked at knife then I looked back to the spectators, then I began to fall in tears asking: "I have to do it? It is my fault?", then everyone confirmed by saying yes by shaking the head, silently.
I began to cut myself, deeper and deeper, creating a gory scene, blood in the ground, then the spectators starts smiling and enjoy.
Nearly by dying, my last words: "Finally, I made what you wanted", and the spectators began to clap their hands.

2. The second one was a realistic and throwback memories when I was sexually abused. Not the exactly moment, place and person, but the feelings I had that day - desperate, freezed, shocked, afraid, unique weird and agony sensation while the predator was touching me. I didn't want to remember this event and the strangest feeling that I had.

Now that I bring up about sexual abuse, you know what is worse about this experience? I was a child, innocent boy that didn't understanding what is happening. I changed by complete: I was happy and joyful then I turned depressed. A part of me was dead. Then in the long of years, by living, more the time passes, more I realize how this event changed and affected my life and personality, feeling more and more failed, destroyed and more vulnerable to these attacks (it was not my first time). The aftermath is the worst situation.

Recently? Dialogues, witches, beating school rivals. I could recall and inscribe a small portion of the texts today, in a state between sleep and wakefulness. They felt like some sort of perennial wisdom. Very fun.

I've heard a state like this being described as sleep paralysis. I've had some dream experiences where I woke up and see the objects resembling animals, like rats or tigers. I find it difficult to explain, but the objects and "hallucinations" had a very strong resemblance to each other.

The scenery feels so absurd to me it's hilarious.

I've been having lucid dreams recently. It seems I'm mastering this skill unconsciously lol.

According with my psycologist, this dream represents how I feel guilty all the time, suicidal tendencies, how I am used to always cut myself and feel afraid to be excluded (which happened in my schoolar life, that I had "friends" then one day they decided to ignore me and bully).

I have lucid dreams too. In the last one I was a food delivery on another planet. The aliens and the scenery were quite nice.

My dreams are rather consistent nowadays. Before COVID-19 when I was going out and about regularly, my dreams were often more miscellaneous and perhaps more interesting. Now that I've been cooped up at home for months, my dreams have become more monotonous and less sophisticated. I usually spend the whole day embroiled in my studies and doing housework, so my dreams are usually about - well - studying and doing housework. I often wonder if I'm either awake or dreaming because to me it all seems like a blur. I have learned to use this phenomenon to my advantage, however; Because the manifestation of my dreams are not so volatile nowadays, I have taken the liberty to spend certain days binging TV shows/movies or playing video games whose settings I find particularly interesting. This allows me to "enter" that world with around a 70-80% success rate. I find that binging at around 7-11 PM, and maintaining a consistent 2 AM - 8 AM sleep schedule is the catalyst for success, although this may be subjective.

You could try handwriting. Mine is gibberish in the dream world. Another reality check one could try is to pay attention to the 1st person nose. and the whole round section around the eyes. Maybe this detail won't appear in the dream.

I actually haven't dreamt that much in a while and when I do, it's usually either overly saccharine and wish-fulfilling or it's straight up a hardcore nightmare of my worst fears all coming together in some way. The former makes me more mad because it's just showing me things I can't have or do while the latter just leaves me more tired.

I wanted to learn lucid dreams a few years ago but when I finally stumbled upon one, I ended up making things worse for myself on purpose because even in dreams I can't escape my own self-hate. Never again.

I keep dreaming of when I walk to my spot in the middle of the night and feeling the river breeze. Crossing the train tracks and wondering if I can count the stars before I wake
