How does this forum stay alive?

"Alive" for lack of a better word, I mean like how does it stay up and running? No advertisers and it seems to be a pretty active forum, so does it just run entirely on donations? Seems pretty cool if thats the case. I remember there was a bitcoin link when I registered.
I guess if people are gonna commit suicide they might as well donate what they can - you can't bring money with you after death.

I like this forum so far though! Really cool little backgrounds for each post, and it's refreshing to hear responses from people that aren't the same NPC type things that everyone else says. I'm glad to hear responses from rational thinking people for once.
