Like 5 minutes is a lot of fucking time for your SI to push the panic button and instantly make you regret your choices.
Do you have to do it the moment you feel like it or choose other methods that causes instant death? Or do you have take drugs to suppress that pesky SI?

You take drugs that facilitate things

You steel yourself beforehand.

You choose a method without the drawback of reflection.

That's why benzos are so strongly recommended for the sn protocol. But according to the pph it takes 12 minutes to lose consciousness, not 5.

Are benzos at high enough doses enough to prevent self reflection or they just make you not care?

you also have to do the 12 to 24 hour (i think 24 hours is too much) fasting protocol to not vomit. i guess that's kind of a preparatory phase that makes you more meditative when it comes down to when you plan on doing it. the cost of more sn (if you took all of it) and the cost of staying in the er as a us citizen would make me want to die more than deal with the financial repercussions while i'm alive. i just wouldn't have the money to be able to attempt again. maybe someone could listen to music or watch a youtube video to pass the time. i always think about the methods in comparison to each other. sn seems less anxiety inducing than hanging because i'm allowed to lay down while i do it, even if i'll still be afraid.

the sn protocol means you have to prepare beforehand regardless, but the bare minimum is fasting and taking an antiemetic like metoclopramide or otc dramamine. benzos are usually recommended, like @DeathSweetDeath said. but most people have a hard time buying them bc the dark net is confusing. they're part of the protocol to lower anxiety and to help you go unconscious faster.

I'm in the same situation here. I might use diphenhydramine instead of benzos since I'm struggling to find benzos
