How do you hold the shotgun when you put it in the mouth?

Do you seriously have to put the shotgun on the floor, and pull the trigger with a foot?

Is it possible to at least put the shotgun on a sink?

Personally, I have no problem reaching the trigger with my thumb while the barrel is in my mouth.

Jessica, that's the way you pretty much have to do it. You put the muzzle end in your mouth, the buttstock resting on the floor or some other solid surface and - if your arms are long enough - you pull the trigger with your thumb.

Yeah that's how I've practiced. It's probably a little different for others. Practice with it unloaded of course and see what works best for you.

I always imagined buttstock on floor with muzzle in mouth while kneeling. Left hand wrapped around barrel and pull trigger with right thumb. Could also be done while in a sitting position.

However you brace it, make absolutely certain the gun is aimed straight back into your head, toward your brainstem, not up at the area above your mouth. If you let it angle up, you'll just blow your face off and possibly survive.

Practice. Often. With a mirror. It's a horrific way to fail if you get it wrong.
