How do you feel when a family member tries to help you or intentionaly or not make you worse

does your family or close friend try to get you help or stop an attempt or through not caring say the wrong thing and make things worse and how do you feel about it

I've had one attempt stopped and then blackmailed that they would tell my family. It feels shit and made things worse.

that's terrible not the fact that you're still alive but the blackmail I hope he gets what's coming to him I hope you stay alive but if you do go blame him in the note for the blackmail police are sure to at least investigate let him crawl

Their is one day I made a joke from a song-I essentially said this line is hilarious. I passed out drunk. Cops came to my house and took me to a holding area. I got out the next morning feeling confused as hell with him telling lots of people I sent a suicide note. I was fairly confident I didn't send him a suicide note as I have never had plans to send him one. It turns out it was just the joke from the song in context, and he said I didn't send anything else. I ended up being extremely annoyed and confused.

I don't think I could do that to anyone though.

I do not like to hurt people but if someone did that to me I could. nothing to prove so he probably wouldn't go to jail but he would go through a shit storm

Sadly, I think my family knows that the day is coming. After a few attempts and psych ward stays, I doubt they'd be surprised.

It's frustrating because I know they have good intentions and want to help somehow, but there's no way of making them understand that they can't help.
