You can state in your will that you don't want to be kept alive when braindead but doctors often listen to close family members where i'm from so it can very.

I recently say a YouTube video of a girl who committed suicide. I guess they found her before she actually died. They put her on life support. The next day they declared her brain dead. They kept her alive for a few more days, her family donated her organs. It was hard to watch her family was devastated

I am relaxed. I was just talking about in general not about a specific person.

Totally. Well I'll be found maybe 12 hours after my suicide, because I have to do it in a hotel. So that better be enough time

I think it depends on the law of your own state. But I can tell you directly that, if someone calls emergency services, the rules of implied consent might well be followed and your advanced directives may be ignored. I can tell you first hand that I've known doctors (3 actually) who refused to honor DNR directives, because they were strong pro-life people. I could go into more detail, as it gets a bit worse.

Find out your local and state laws and resussitating and don't trust in a piece of paper on its own. Immediate family members may override you, if you are incapable of making decisions.
