How do you convince a sensitive person that it wasn't their fault?

Title. I have a few friends. Being fake to them all the time, I hope they don't think "wow he was a suspect for suicide" you know?

It's not that you can convince anyone. That's up to them whether they accept it or not. You can tell them the truth, but that doesn't mean they will receive it. All you can do is your part, the rest is up to them.

If it helps, you didn't cause them to be sensitive, that was already there and is beyond your capability to change or affect. Your power is in your own actions, not over how they perceive them.
