usually someone will have a goodbye post, when that occurs, i think the OP has like a month before their account is deleted. If the attempt is unsuccessful, the mods take the account off of auto delete.

That's a really good question, actually, as not everyone posts "Goodbye' threads. For the ones who don't, I'd have to say if a period of time goes by where a user has no activity at all, the Mods may place a mark through their username, and then the onus would be placed on that user, if they were still alive, to get their account reactivated should they return.

We only do that when or someone's dead is confirmed or if a user asked one of us to do it after a certain amount of time
