Method How Do I Make Sure My Shot Is Successful?

I want to commit suicide using a shotgun. That being said, what caliber should I use and where do I place the barrel/how should I hold the gun to ensure that I actually end up dead and not just messed up beyond repair in some hospital bed?

There is a megathread on this... not sure how helpful it is tbh coz for me it's written in the hardest ways to read lmaoo but yeah. If you scroll a little into the comments someone posts a picture of a good place to shoot - somewhere around the back of your ear where it hits the brain stem.
