Help How do I call the cops to tell them I’m ending myself

How do I call the cops so they could find my but still have enough time to fully die? I'm going to use the night night method or hanging and it said I'll need at least 15-30 minutes to make sure I'm fully gone. I was thinking of calling the cops and telling them and then going thru with it but there are too many things that could go wrong. If I do it correctly the cops will still probably get to me in 5-10 minutes. But realistically for me taking into consideration all factors such as procrastination and thinking they'll probably find me 5 minutes into my attempt

I'm not sure where you live, but in many/most places here in the USA, one can text the police instead of calling them. If you are able to do that where you live, you could compose your text and schedule it to be sent at a later time of your choosing. And of course, if you change your mind last minute, you can always cancel and delete the text so it doesn't get sent. I'm pretty sure you can schedule texts on any iPhone or Android phone, etc. Best of luck to you, and may you find peace in whatever you choose to do.

I'd rather not call the cops at all especially if you fail because they will throw you in grippy socks jail. They can discover themselves a few days later when you're dead

Yea that's what I was worrying about, if I call them and then fail then I'm fucked and gonna be thrown in a psych ward. But I also can't just do it and leave my body there cause I live with my mom and I don't want her to find my body like that. I think I'm just going to find a way to pre-schedule a call to 911.

That's what I was thinking of doing, setting up a pre-scheduled call or text. That might be my best bet.

I'm personally going to schedule emails to the pertinent people.

Why would you even wish to be found? When you are dead it doesn't make a difference, if you are discovered within a short frame of time or only once your body starts decomposing. But if you still decide to inform authorities do so with a scheduled text or email and not beforehand.
