just jumping in to say I would never recommend someone taste or test it in this way, it's dangerous but not fatal which i'm assuming no one wants. in recent accounts it's mostly described as "really salty" with a few users reporting a chemical taste present with burps etc but this may vary brand to brand.

I have read that it is just "very salty" (duh, it's salt) with a chemical aftertaste. Several people have had mints nearby to take afterwards to help with the taste.

The simple answer is: very salty.
For some people the taste is not a huge problem, but for others it can be.

As the person above mentioned, DO NOT TEST SN unless you have made a final decision about death.
Even a small dose can be fatal.

Some people mask the taste of SN with strong mouthwash, or chewing gum for example.

I tried it. Failed test suicide attempt.

It's DISGUSTING. EXTREMELY CHEMICAL, just a tad bit salty.
