How alike are SN and KN really?

Is it just based on preference? It doesn't seem like a lot of people are CTBing with KN despite it being more available. Me personally, I'm not interested in going through the dark web to buy SN. I have to be honest, I am kind of a lazy person. KN is more easily accessible so for me its the best option.

If there are any differences experience wise, what are they? I know pain experience varies widely among people who use it.
