You can Bang your head against the wall
Household items won't bring you a safe death, sure not peaceful one ( if you mean to Over-the-counter medicines and supplements, most chances you'll fuck your liver)

Have you consider SN? It's the most popular method here and it's easy to obtain (most of the times)

It's about £8 for 50g on a popular auction site. UK seller so if it's not 99% pure as advertised you can get a refund. Testing for purity is not too difficult.

I think forum rules don't allow posting of links. I'm not sure if photos are permitted either. I just read on another thread that this site is watched, so I wouldn't post anything that can be used to identify a seller or source.

Just be sure you're looking for sodium nitrite, not nitrate. It's perfectly legal to buy & own in the UK. Just make sure it's lab grade.
