I thought about watching some stuff from that horror movies iceberg going around the internet to check, but I'm not even sure if I'll have the energy to put up trough it (as most proved to be mediocre montages with nothing but shock value). Also, any recommendations from the catalog?

Can you post the horror iceberg if it's a public meme.

My catalog is the A24 movies and things I've found on letterboxd. Old 80s classics I've not seen like The Beyond and so on. I'd post it but it's someone I know and I don't think I should link it here.

Thanks and sure, a brief warning for users that come across this though, the last 2-3 rows are straight up montages of gore, so view it at your own discretion (Link).

Halloween (2018).

There are others on the list, but the above films have been on replay for some time.

The Beyond is awesome. Going to love that movie. As for myself, huge horror fan, so, will continue to do what I do regularly anyway. No specific titles planned but am open to suggestions.

I've seen every version of Halloween. I like the original timeline best because it was more supernatural.

I plan to rewatch The Thing in the lead up to Halloween, haven't seen it in a few years.

Don't miss the prequel from 2011 - or do, depending on how you like modern reboots.

I'm already a pretty big horror movie fan regardless of the season, but in October I crank it up fully to 10. Right now, I've got my own personal Letterboxd Halloween-themed list I'm currently selecting titles from. I tend to gravitate more towards absurdist & surrealist horror (directors like David Lynch, Yorgos Lanthimos, Larvs von Trier, Ari Aster), but really I'm open to anything. I'm also a sucker for a well-made supernatural or paranormal horror film—slasher movies don't really do anything for me.

A24 has some excellent horror films:
  • Green Room
  • Hereditary
  • Midsommar
  • The Blackcoat's Daughter
  • Saint Maud
  • The Killing of a Sacred Deer
  • The VVitch
  • Under the Silver Lake (I suppose this one is more of a drama/mystery, but it's still worth an honorable mention)

Pornographical gore montages, mostly. Definitely just straight up sick stuff.

No, I do not go to see films in person as I do not do well in crowds.

Any film I want to see, I will wait for it to be released on Blu-ray.

I hate crowds too so I understand that part. But I noticed you listed pretty much the whole series , did the trailer interest you ?

The trailer for Ends was intriguing.

But I am in no rush and I will eventually see the conclusion.

I actually watched a documentary on Hellbound: Hellraiser II last night. Great and through documentary, but the runtime is a bit....epic? 3 hours and 19 minutes. About half of that is discussing the cast and script and crew and production. The other half is the best part. An hour and a half of great detail on the special effects and makeup used in the film. I highly recommend this film to anyone who loves behind the scenes footage. This is one of the best of its kind for that sort of thing.
