Venting Hopelessness

When one suffers from chronic mental or physical illness—there is no hope for a decent future in most cases.

One likely will never have a successful career or be able to work sufficiently, not be able to have a nice home independently, and if anything will likely struggle to secure the bare minimum through government assistance. You do not have a professional or social life like healthy people which in our society is a requirement for dignity and decency.

All of this leads to an extremely hopeless and lonely existence that makes suicide very appealing.

Feeling horrid today. Can't live day to day anymore barely able to make it through knowing there is no future. The present is hell. Physically and mentally in pain. Exhausted and want to die.

Same here. Physical illness has taken its toll on me. The bus will be caught after Christmas. My future is bleak and hopeless. Physically ill with no cure, mentally ill, broke af and lonely af.
