Maybe the forum could support Tapatalk? I normally use the forum on my phone without problems though and if you don't use Tapatalk the nagging to do so can be a nuisance. (It's an app that makes forums a bit better to use on mobiles if they have support for it.) Even the shoutbox works.
They can pull stuff like this from the apple app store anyway (which has a yearly fee for running an app), further limiting the use cases. Idk anything about android apps anymore.
You can also just put a bookmarked site with all your app icons, for sites I use a lot on my iPhone I press the share icon on them and 'Add to Home Screen' so I can remember them and access them a little faster than having to use my browser bookmarks. Not the most discreet option which would be a concern for some I guess.

I can see the appeal of an app, but I very much doubt that Google/Apple/Microsoft will allow this kind of app on their app store.

Android might, it's the wild west when it comes to apps, the play store is full of apps that probably shouldn't be there.
But even then you can just avoid the play store and upload the app third party.

This is easily one of the better designed forums around, very user friendly and doesn't look like an old geocities website.
Mostly notifications. People would still be free to visit the mobile site of course, but I'll always prefer a well-designed app over a well-designed mobile website.
Running a forum and having huge traffic bandwidth could be costly
whoever the founder running the forum depending on donation he get which I doubt there will be any will bear most cost on his own, Since I have experience running my own forum, Getting it to as an app will just cost more and more bandwidth, I suggest the admin setup Gofundme and from there take it based on feedback/suggestion for Improvement

I'm all for that and would contribute happily. Maybe a platform that allows for monthly donations, à la Patreon? Not sure if Gofundme has that feature.

It would be a nice option if someone wants notifications. But if not, the design is sufficient enough. This is a very well designed forum.

I don't have an iPhone, but it would be interesting to see a screenshot of someone with one searching for 'suicide forum' or 'suicide' and see what pops up.

I apologise to bump an old thread but what's the go with this are there any developers working on an app for this site or is there an alternative to Tapatalk or form talker, All Forums etc. I would definitely be more active that's for sure because I prefer using app compared to a browser
