Ok so there are certain few teachers I feel more open to talk to (probs because of their personality, how they're primary job isn't like a counsellor or therapist so like they actually listen and give advice not from that perspective if you know what i mean?, and cuz i just connect with them more), but my school counsellor said I can't talk to them anymore.

basically how my school works is that there are head teachers for different year groups and the head teachers/other teachers I'm comfortable with talking to are technically in charge of everyone, but for people in my year, if you have any serious concerns you would go to a different teacher. It's not like you can't talk to the other head teachers, but for me, the counsellor said it's too complicated if I go to different teachers (idk if that's just for me or for everyone). I guess it might be, but I just don't understand why because when I talk to those teachers, they all just send a notice/email to the counsellor if they have any concerns. Idk how that gets complicated if I don't talk to a specific teacher. They'll all just email the counsellor anyways? And in my opinion, talking to the teacher assigned to my year group would be more complicated because she doesn't know as much as the other teachers do. i've already opened up so much to these teachers just last year and now because I'm part of the older year group just since this year, I can't talk to them. I just don't see how that's suppose to help me. Everyone says to talk to someone you trust, but now I can't? But they probably do have good reasons though, so I'll talk to the school counsellor about that. But what do you guys think?

BE COMPLETELY BRUTALLY HONEST.

if youre in school and have someone to talk to, please do. seeking initial support is always a good option

Don't threads like this belong in the "recovery" section, that is the part of the forum for those who want to improve their situation and seek "help". This is the suicide discussion. I personally think that being too open about anything suicide related is a terrible idea and anyway I don't think that talking would ever solve anything. People don't really care about our suffering even if they pretend to, humans are very self centred after all and you cannot trust them. But anyway, it's a personal decision to decide what to do.

oh yea, sorry. I get confused whether I want to get better or not so I switch between the two sections.

Even though i know people just "care" because they have to, I think there are some who do actually care. And that gives me hope and makes me change my mind about my plans to ctb way too often. But again, those certain people that I feel actually care, I'm "not allowed" to talk to anymore.

I just wanna know if I'm the only one who doesn't think it's fair and if it was reasonable.
