Anyone got plans for when you go to hell?
I'm probably just going to kill the people I've hated the most over and over again there.

Well, that's if their there.

not too worried about hell because i'm not convinved hell is a real place. religions are pretty obviously man made, and the fear of hell was really just a tool the (basically) creators of the religion (or the people in charge of it) used to keep plebs in line.

and even if it were real i don't think any human deserves to go there. torturing anyone for literally eternity doesn't sound productive.

sorry you were probably just joking

If Hell is real, a lot of the best people will be there cos very few of the ones I admire believed in a god of any description, very few enlightened or intellectual people do, and the majority of them broke many of the deadly sins denying them access to the pearly gates.

I'm sure there'd be sections for the truly evil so I'd avoid the monsters like Hitler, Pol Pot, Churchill and John Lennon - I could have a nice steaming hot beer with the rest in the *mischievous yet not truly damned or evil* lounge with Jimi Hendrix accompanying Bowie on stage.

Yeah I don't really have much of a belief system anymore. I think the best guess is just total non existence after death.

Places where the murder rate is higher than the average iq. Places where you wouldn't take your family to live or even visit. Where the poverty rate is probably the only number higher than the murder rate.

I'm confused so if Jesus died for our sins that means we have no sins, hence the golden ticket to heaven for everyone, :haha: :haha: :haha:

I had a fascination with theology for a while, even after losing my belief in anything to do with religion. There is in fact a theological position, called universalism, which holds exactly that, that all souls will eventually be reconciled to God. Even in the absolutist church of Catholicism some hold the possibility that hell exists but is empty.

I'm already in hell. To me the question should be what do I plan on doing after escaping this hell, and my answer would be to rest forever.

Lennon was a bully, a wife beater and child abandoner amongst other things, and Churchill was indeed a massive racist directly responsible for the deaths of Millions. Stalin was also technically a war hero, but not many hold him in high regards.

Is it really possible to still think that there might be some other place, outside of out little blue planet, where even worse sufferings are needed, required or are even imaginable, in addition to seemingly endless offerings humans have managed to come up on their 'little blue planet', to name just a few; wars, hunger, concentration camps, gulags, gas chambers, genocides, forced labor, bondage-slavery, sexual-slavery, poverty with all its many associated ills, child-soldiers, forced displacements, citizens being turned into homeless refugees overnight only to wonder aimlessly through various parts of the planet from one camp to another for an undetermined period of time, child-abuses, drug-cartels, corrupter regimes, animal cruelty, deforestations, air-pollution, rape , murder, greed, political/cultural and economic oppression ... what OTHER hell do you think you may need?

If there even is a hell and I go to it. I hope I suffer for a really long time.

Everyone I know would be happy if I did. That alone makes it worth it.

If there is a hell, then I'd be more inclined to believe that we're already in it. It doesn't seem like there are any limits to the torture that this world can dish out. And personally I've tested the limits of escaping it plenty, and it definitely doesn't seem ready to let me.
