Method Hélium asphyxiation

I'm reading about helium specifically as a method. How much does anyone know about this? I'm reading this article which is a study;

Helium Suicide, a Rapid and Painless Asphyxia: Toxicological Findings

They say it's very hard to trace as a method. Just looking for some plain language information as to how to accomplish it.

It's difficult to setup. It requires some technical know-how. Also, the helium sold in many places is now often laced with a little bit of oxygen, enough to make you fail in dying, but not enough to prevent brain damage. I guess society would rather wish we have brain damage than ending a torturous life peacefully smh.

Helium is not often sold pure, so careful what you buy and check/verify 100% before trying!

Be certain the brand of H you buy is pure H, no oxygen. Certain producers add oxygen so it won't be successfully used to CTB.
It has a reputation as being very peaceful. You'll need to buy a pressure regulator, as the tanks basically turn on or off & won't accommodate CTB. There are many details that need to be attended to. Good luck!

Thank you for the tip about the oxygen added. I can't imagine surviving long enough to have brain damage. The article is very detailed, but where to buy pure helium is an issue

My main attraction to it is that there may be a way to make it look like an accident. It's difficult to trace so if I had myself set up properly and staged the scene(and scrubbed the internet of my online discussions ) maybe it could be peaceful and also not traumatic for my daughters who are young adults now
