Method Helium and mask

So I have my method (helium and mask) and have everything ready and the day picked out. Before hand though, is there anything that I should make sure of before to ensure that this goes off with no problems? I am not trying to end up be resuscitated to go to a institute for god knows how long or worse, end up a vegetable.

Make sure that it's pure helium.

I ordered research grade, will that work?

Yes, research-grade is either 99.999% or 99.9999%. Probably cost you an arm or a leg.

Yeah, and the scuba gear wasn't that cheap either unfortunately which it why I want to make sure that everything goes as planned.
