With this heat we have in the US, you could easily ctb just by going out in the heat and exercising, or getting into a car that's been sitting in the sun for hours and is 140 degrees, and sit there without starting it up

I've thought about doing this numerous times, but it would be Veryy uncomfortable I imagine.. so I'm out on that method sadly.

I live in Ireland and we had a mini heatwave last week. We are not used to hot weather so It was uncomfortable.

It's back to the rain and grey sky's this week though. ☔

In my country there were 40 Celsius in the shade. 104F and in the sun it was 44 celsius which is 112F. As you said probably getting into a car would bake you alive. And I live in Romania, I can only imagine Greece for example. They can probably cook an egg on the sidewalk.

This would be nothing but horrific. There have been stories of toddlers left in cars who were found with bloody clumps of their own hair in their hands.

I tried yesterday, walked 5 miles. Not even close.

Grand canyon gets to 120 and hiked down that with ease, tough to pull off

That doesn't seem like a very reliable method.. There's a high chance you would survive and be very unwell.

The heat's intense, but its not comfortable. I've worked in higher temps, and its a terrible feeling.

It can cause cardiac arrest hours after the fact. When exposed to high temperatures for extended periods of time your blood actually gets thicker cause of the loss of fluids. Which causes clots.

It's been hot enough where I'm at they shut down roads because they are literally melting!
