in school, or work, have you ever got bullied? did it ever get physical? or just insults, words, etc?

Yes, physical violence and verbal.

Tried to stop all the bullying, but that meant I had to take the punches.

Yes, that's why I'm here. I got bullied at school from 1st grade until 8th grade. I had no friends at all in that class. It was mostly psychological, sometimes physical, there was also an incident reminiscent of COCSA but idk if I would consider myself sexually abused because it was mild in comparison and I don't want to undermine victims of actual SA. But it made me very paranoid and I spent the rest of K12 nearly mute. It only stopped when I started high school because none of those people were in my new class. I'm sick and tired of it not being taken seriously.

Yes, mostly in 5th through 7th grade IIRC. There was this boy on the bus who might have been younger than me, but he was always accompanied by his older brother and an older friend of his brother. I don't remember how this actually started, at first he was verbally mean to me and my friends. Then he tried to get a seat behind me and pull on my hair or make me feel uncomfortable in other ways.

I was really afraid of taking the bus back then. Always tried to get a seat that no one could sit behind or where grown-ups were sitting. We were using public transport busses and when the one right after school was too full we'd take the next one, but then this guy was sometimes also in that bus.

I also remember there was an older girl who was picking on me and my friends. One time, she opened my school bag and things fell out inside the bus. After that, I got myself a new one which had lockable buckles.

I think there was not as much physical violence involved as others have experienced, but it still left a mark on me and made me overly cautious. I talked to my parents about it but they couldn't help me, they only suggested I should say no with a firm voice. But I couldn't say things in a suitable firm voice back then.

I was when I was 9-12 years old. The worst things I feel comfortable sharing is that one of my bullies (the main one) pretended to be a friend of mine, just so they could coax personal/embarrassing stories out of me, screenshot what I said to 8 other people (some were my bullies, others were friends of theirs), and mock me. They'd make up fake people, such as hackers or simply random burner accounts, just to stalk and harass me. It's one of the earliest memories I have where I learned to never fully trust people, especially close friends.

I'm so damn sorry that you all had to go through that. Can't stand it. Drives me nuts that people can do such things. Please know that it wasn't your fault in any way. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, no matter how fragile or different they are. Never forget that, please.

yes, it started out light when i was in 5th grade these 2 girls would team up and kinda verbally rough me up. When these 2 werent together, they were nicer to me, and i even befriended one of them for a bit. Then, 2 boys took interest in following me home from school, even hiding for 10+ minutes until i thought the coast was clear only to jump out of the bushes, making comments and trying to get close enough to touch me but luckily my brother intervened because i sent a SMS back then. Then when i was 19 or so, some guy kept calling me weird stuff and changed my folder names on our school server to make comments about my body. I'm even older now, but some guy in class, or even more, i dont know, used my identity to make more NSFW comments a few weeks ago, lol, maybe im still getting bullied fr

yea basically my whole school life. everyone made fun of me behind my back and in my face.
