I don't care much about the pain if i am certain that it will work. i just don't manage to pass the line and do the last step. too much thoughts like pros and cons until i quit and go back home.....too much mental muddle

If you don't feel like doing it this way, then don't do it. This certainly isn't your last chance (if you really feel like that's what you want to do), so wait until you encounter an opportunity that makes you more comfortable. That way, at least, you can do it in peace, without any fear ...
