something i noticed about the world is that in any context, hatred will arise. no matter what, you're always open to be loathed and despised. the less privileged u are, the more probable it is to see the conditionality of ppl's love. once you're no longer useful to someone, once ppl can't get anything out of u, you disagree over something silly, everything evaporates.
we r desperate for connection but how much altruism actually exists in the world? should we be okay with both feeding into and surviving in a broken society where we will betray each other and leave ppl to rot in the ashes?
the unrelenting nature of human hatred is one of my biggest sources of depression. i know there are probably people out there for everyone, but it's sickening to have to perform all the time in order to be human and an "acceptable" part of society. it's unbearable.
