Two times. First time I was so drunk I couldn't get the knot tied right so it kept coming undone, so I said fuck it and went to bed lol. The other time I got the knot right but couldn't get myself to pass out. And it didn't really hurt much, just felt like blood building up in my head which was uncomfortable. Still alive unfortunately.

I find it more comfortable to use a bigger material then like shoe laces. A blanket or towel or curtains make it so much more comfortable. Then just find the sweet spot by pushing your neck into the noose and within seconds you will pass out

Unfortunately I woke up after about 30 seconds of being passed out and I was convulsing and I couldn't hear things properly. I must have moved when passed out.

Sort of.
First time it was only a test run. Wanted to make sure the belt would work and that what I'd looped it around would hold my weight. The test went great. Within seconds my eyesight had blacked out and I could feel myself headed towards unconsciousness pretty quickly.

However when I had things in order and went for it for real, for some reason I couldn't recreate it. This time round I felt like I was choking and that my head was going to explode from the pressure. I don't know if this was SI or if the buckle just wasn't in the right spot to constrict the carotid artery. Either way I just thought F it. I'll get helium instead.

Tons of times, never could ever get a proper rope for it.
Recently tried with a belt, managed to find the sweetspot for carotid compression.
So I may go from drop hanging to suspension.
Who knows.

Was your sweet spot under or above your Adam's apple?

No I think I started convulsing and moving around and moved off of my arteries. It's hard to explain but I was laying in an awkward position, which was hard to balance on.

Twice.
First with 10.5 mm climbing rope. Painless, quickly started to feel lightheaded and my vision became black. I was panting like a locomotive when close to passing out (could breathe easily). It was peaceful.

Second time I tried tow rope and it was terrible- I was choking and it hurt my neck. Tried moving the noose, changing position but looks like this rope is just a huge no no

It's a minor difference between getting the carotids or not, sometimes the rope works sometimes it doesn't, either way I always stand up. My climbing rope doesn't lock in place i've noticed whereas my nylon rope does, thus if I follow through I feel more confident with the nylon rope's knot holding when I start convulsing.

Partial suspension recreates a blood choke that is done in grappling (mma), the difference is that the rope never lets go, that's all it is. Having done bjj in the past getting choked by another person doesn't actually hurt at all, the rope normally hurts more as it's thinner and sharper than an arm.

What ligature did you use? a towel? I've read this happening a few times, it's too bad there's no footage of such incidents. What makes you think you were only out for 30 seconds versus say 3 mins? Any lasting damage?

As I don't have a adams apple, it was above the middle of my throat where I swallow, if you put your finger on it you can feel the pulse.
If you constrict that, it's lights out.
