Has anyone ever met people they know irl on here?

Genuinely just curious... its so odd that I feel as if there are several people on here that I know in my everyday life on this forum, I'm just not 100% sure of it. Also I would just like to hear the stories of that happening if it has, it just proves the theory of how small of a world it REALLY is.

A 25 yr old girl here, wanting to know about Nitrogen, asked me to call her--I called her, she was in Virginia, just gave her the basics, and she said thanks--That only took a few minutes, but then we talked for 4 more hours, hit it off with each other in a depressing way, we both vented about what led us up to this point--Emailed her a few times months later, she said she somehow got possession of Nembutal, so she discarded the Nitrogen method--This was about a year ago, I don't know what happened to her

Yes I met 3 guys from here. 1 was subsequently documented as being a predatory type. The second actually lives near me and we were vague acquaintances already. That was a surprise though. The third was just a nice guy living not too far from me and we connected as we both have kids. We met once briefly and hugged and that was it. I don't regret meeting any of them.

I honestly don't regret meeting him. It was an experience. There was a big chemistry between us as far as I was concerned, I know that sounds crazy but I'm just being honest. It was a weird time when I was deeply suicidal and self destructive, so I felt I had nothing to lose in meeting this dodgy guy. It was all linked to him being into extreme bdsm and wanting a sub.. it's all too much of a long story tbh but basically I look back at it as an exciting, probably dangerous experience and anything in life which makes me feel buzzing and alive, is an experience I can't regret.
