Hanging seems to be the only viable method available to me that I could also do in the privacy of my own home. The problem is that I cannot think of any spot within my apartment that I think would be sturdy enough for this to work. I read about people hanging themselves from a steel bar in their wardrobe, but I don't have such a thing availabe unfortunately.
I do happen to have a column in my living room though and I considered fastening a large stepladder to it using straps, and then hanging myself from the one of the top rungs. I know this setup might sound a little ridiculous, but I'm concerned about the ladder falling over and it messing up my attempt.
Do you think this would be a viable method? Any suggestions what might work as an alternative?
