Hanging yourself from this statue

[Its almost time]

It's a statue that means the world to me, so would like to go out with a bang as such, perfect ligature point one of the arms.. trouble is it's in a public place so am thinking of the earlier hours of the morning when no one is around, but even then there will be night security men on, will investigate over the next few nights... Or is a place as public as this doomed for failure? Would need at least 30 minutes undisturbed for a full hanging to be complete...

I mean if its special to you but I would advise you to find somewhere more private. There are a lot of risks and scenarios that may and will go wrong. Plans don't always work out as intended.

I pulled up Google Maps of the statue, I count at least 4-5 CCTV cameras pointing in the general direction of the statue. You have the Park Pub across the street that's open till 2AM every night, with quite a few stragglers drunk from whatever escapades they're doing it from. The statue is located inside a gated area that closes at night. You would have to scale that, and being that's in the vicinity of a stadium, there are security guards around.

Yeah unfortunately to actually do what we want to do, we have to do it in seclusion or risk disturbance or intervention. It's a shame but our reality nonetheless. I've had to basically choose a spot in the middle of nowhere, however it's actually quite scenic so my view will be quite nice as the "lights" dim and I go to sleep.

I don't think you should do this. First off, it appears to be next to a stadium. The odds of security guards patrolling there are quite high, and you need at least an entire 30 minutes completely undisturbed to succeed in CTB.
Furthermore, I don't think you should risk completely innocent people, especially kids, seeing your lifeless body hanging there.
Lastly, if you do fail (and odds are quite high that you will), you will 100% be admitted into a psychiatric hospital.
