Hi,
just wondered what people's thoughts were on hanging but with the knot at the front of the neck.
I have read that it is the most painless way to hang yourself because it does not put any pressure on the windpipe, but strangely I haven't heard it mentioned
on this site at all. As I am sure you know constricting the windpipe is the most painful part of the hanging method.
I bought the book "Suicide and Attempted Suicide: Methods and Consequences, by Geo Stone" which was recommended on a suicide website.
The author provides "How to hang yourself guide". He says you should firmly pad the front quater of the neck and the knot should go high and at the front of the neck.
He says that unconsiousness from this method is rapidly fast.
So this sounds like the night night method I have read about but instead it is a partial hanging method.
Do you think this way of hanging would actually work? Do you think there would be enough pressure on the sides of the neck to constrict the arteries?
It sounds almost too good to be true of a method, so any thoughts would be appreciated.
thanks
