We all make the decisions we do at the time we have them feel no guilt or regret at that time the decision was the right one.

Anhedonia and apathy are the worst, people will say just get a hobby or do something you like but they can´t comprehend that we don´t feel anything all the things we used to enjoy is boring now.

Why would you say that? There are hundreds of pictures in the hanging megathreads on Documenting Reality that says otherwise and surprisingly there are quite a few who used bedsheets to hang themselves too.

you are so against hanging-seen it a few times-but isnt every method not risk free/ pain free? also maybe so access to N or SN or takes too long to arrive and they have had enough already- Ive had a little read of SN and it sounds pretty confusing-conflicting reports too. Is it just because you think it will be painful way? SN could be too, no? just asking in a curious way- not in an aggro way.

I have SN, antiemetics and antiacids, all ready in my schoolbag for months. But still thinking that hanging would be better. It's really hard to overcome SI when you know you are drinking something that will kill you.

To be fair- I can agree with blackjack -in so much as I have tried many many many times & it is VERY hard-for me anyways

didnt want to agree with you as I am trying to trick myself and overcome SI to do-but it does seem much more diffilcult than you would think-given the numer of people that do manage to do it, I guess we only hear on the news of the ones that did suceed rather then the hundreds that tried and failed-often that no one will ever know about

I am anti-hanging as well. Too much can go wrong. Bed sheet? Wrong idea. At least you will need a proper rope. Sorry.

The Sunny Garcia story is a reminder of how wrong hanging can go. He's in a wheelchair with serious brain damage. It happened in April.
"Surfer Sunny Garcia is in a critical condition after he allegedly attempted to kill self in Oregon on Monday. ... According to reports, the 49-year-old American professional surfer attempted to kill self by hanging and was rushed to the Portland-area medical center."

God that is awful - Imagine that- he wanted to die before anyway! & now to be in that state. Surprised he didnt just try and go out in the waves somehow you know. I heard a similar story in the UK, where a friend thought his pal sounded strange on the phone-so went over -I think there was even a sign on the door saying- do not enter -just call police-as he didnt want to risk kids/ grlfd seeing him-but his friend went in and stopped him half way through-he is severly disabled-cant spk etc but yeah 'still alive', yeah great! You wonder if the friend in someway has any guilt for stopping it.

I would be so mad if someone stopped me and I had to live in a severely disabled state. With my luck, it could happen though.

Same-and some are in such a state they wont even be able to attempt again! so awful.
