So, yesterday was good. But, today old conversations keep replaying in my head. How do I deal with this?
I had a very close friendship with this person. It ended because I couldn't help but act depressive & talk about depressing things while my 'friend' used alt-right talking points that scared me. I told him I found him frightening & he told me I was a depressive bore.
By the way, he would maniacally laugh & quote the joker, 'all you need is a little push'.
He was eccentric to say the least. How do I get over this person & stop thinking of him. Especially because he likely got over me very quickly & never accepted any of my apologies. He would block me immediately.

I'm sorry to hear you lost you lost a friend, but it also doesn't sound like this person was very empathetic or compassionate about your emotional state. It's unlikely that they would've contributed a lot to your life or your well-being. Time intends to heal this type of wound. Keep yourself distracted and busy. Trying to do things extra nice for yourself like you do yummy snacks or take a nap. Go for walks and get out of the house to clear your mind. It will get easier with time.

Thank you so much, Rosey Bird. It is very hard for me as the memory of this person gets me suicidal.

I'm sorry that you are feeling poorly. Loss is always hard, and if it is a person that you invested in emotionally, it will take time to move forward. That is normal; that is human. You might have to sit with those feelings for awhile, but eventually they will ease.

And I'm actually pretty sure they will ease. Because this person sounds dreadful. Alt-right? Yuck. Making you feel guilty for having mental health issues rather than being a supporting friend? No thanks. This person does not seem like they were a very good person, let alone a very good friend to you. I understand that it hurts now, but it will be ok eventually. Is there anything that you enjoy doing to take your mind off things? Because I truly do believe distraction + time will get you over the loss of this person who was not a good friend to you.
