Oh that would piss me off so bad lol! If I happened to be the person who for some reason survived this. Guess it wasn't his time eh? I wonder if it was diluted or he was just indestructible lol!

I have a super fast metabolism, which is why I'm always skeptical about ODs and taking dangerous stuff. I thought about the drinking antifreeze method because usually it takes 3 days to kill, 2 days to metabolize in the blood stream, with me I think I'll be dead in a day. I already consume 5000+ calories a day just to gain 1 lb.

Wait...I just read the whole thread there...so he is bored? He wasn't put in psych hospital after? I'd lose my job, be put in hospital for psych ward and then after 7 days be released with a gigantic bill and a "see ya, try not to kill yourself again" advice. But he's going to the gym. Hummmm....

So I've been reading the guy's post history a little more, and he describes himself as 'a bit overweight' (may have been a factor). Also, he was discovered because his workplace called for a welfare checkup when he didn't show..

Another post he made about the attempt:

"I attempted suicide in December using N. but after a 48hr coma, where I lay undiscovered, a work welfare check led to my being hospitalised. It was Hell in ICU. Incredibly vivid hallucinations.

But incredibly I survived with no damage and a recovery which startled the doctors. Some called it miraculous."

I haven't read the Reddit, but two things come to mind:

1) Was it N from a reliable source, or did he get scammed with fake/dilute/low-potency N? I have read a couple accounts here of forum members taking a test of their N and reporting that the small test-dose did virtually nothing, suggesting the possibility that there's low-potency/expired/dilute N out there. I don't mean to be an alarmist, but even aside from any discussion of where to source it, should the quality of N be a factor in our method decisions?

2) Is he telling tales? Is this a pro-life troll discrediting N? For verifiability, are hallucinations typical of barbituate use (I don't recall them being so) or could this be a "side effect" invented to lend verisimilitude?

Okay, three things come to mind:

3) The only sure-fire way to die is old age.

If I drank 2 bottles of N from A and survived that would suck big time because then I would have to get a job for about a month so I could order 3 bottles of N

Can the report be verified through other sources?
I only know of that medical report of this Indian doctor in the UK. But if I remember correctly the person was found soon after taking the N.

Ich did a quick Google search and it does seem like one of the withdrawal symptoms from barbiturates is hallucinations.
I have a feeling a prolifer would make up some kind of damage as well maybe?

Unsettling either way.

I'm not concerned about N from A. I'm guessing it was the Chinese powder. Why does he not want to give info about the supplier? Also if you're really worried about your N you could test it.

Found this from last year on reddit:

"Hi – have to vent.

So, despite disbelief which I cant blame you for, I survived 15g of Nembutal (and, no, I wont give you the supplier).

No idea how it happened- spent 3 weeks in hospital after a 3 day coma. I lay undiscovered for 2 days.

Doctors could only say I was lucky- I dont feel it. I was calm and happy to go. So at peace."

https://www.reddit.com/r/SuicideWatch/comments/5vf6bn/i_survived_nembutal_but_i_still_want_to_die/

I really doubt what he is saying is true. Some people lie to get attention or whatever else or maybe he got the N from someone and it wasn't actually N etc. No one survives 15gs on N unless they are found right away, yet alone two days later!

It's virtually impossible, he's either making it up or was scammed with diluted N. Provided your N is from A and you don't throw it up or get discovered straight away you're practically guaranteed to die

I'm not able to get N, but it's still scary.
How to tell it was 3 days in coma? Was there a suicide note with a date on it. Went into a coma after discovery, or assuming went into a coma shortly after consuming?

Lots of variables going on here. Potency and possible cross tolerance to something else he was taking are the biggest. Or he's just a straight up bullshitter we won't ever know.
