For those not in the US, i suppose you know but guns have their own SI torture.
I am a novice.
I thought the purchase would be easy at least. That hasn't been the case. It's intimidating.
I'm going for handgun.
It seems more realistic than shotgun, to me. Shotgun has to be more effective but also so brutal.
Above the ear. Seems the most frequently recommended here.
For those who can't get a gun, does it seem as easy to you as well?
I just wonder what others think. Maybe a new perspective would get me over the hump on something here.

Oddly, if I think about being shot by someone a headshot seems scary. It has to be most humane but multiple shot to the heart and chest area, then die or bleed out seem better. I don't know just looking for any thoughts here.

Yes I heard from horrible si people have with the gun method some even mentioned being afraid that in absolute last second before they shoot the si would make their hand shake and therefore they wouldn't shoot where they wanted and fail the attempt which is a nightmare when someone fails suicide by gun.

I think intraorally is a better way, rather than to side of head. Regardless of the mess, I think shotgun is more reliable, too.
