It's the most effective fast and painless. You won't even hear it. It's not that hard to do correctly. Gun in mouth back of the throat angled slightly upward. 9 mm or greater caliber is more than enough. I think most people on this board who live in the US don't discuss it or do it because it is effective.

I wanna do it I just need to buy a gun I went to get one earlier but I didn't know what to get. Which kind should I ask for?

@Aprilfarewell4 is right 9mm or larger will do the job, but my recommendation is to get a shotgun if you have the option. They are easier to acquire in most places and are foolproof following the normal tips.

Yeah as someone who hasn't shot guns before I'm myself considering finding a shooting range to potentially practice and/or eventually ctb.
