Not going to go into details... but I got an email this evening about a "money making business opportunity" that was "totally legit" that I was strongly encouraged to respond to and consider... in that order, ironically... respond and THEN consider the offer.
But, anyway... it said it was something to do with selling the US Dollar... whatever they meant by that. But the kicker in all this was they strongly recommended I don't report the offer/email to the proper authorities (they used that phrase) such as the Secret Service or whatever.
Imagine... attempting to make your scam email seem more authentic by strongly urging the recipient to not contact authorities... because, you know, all the legit offers you get ALWAYS say "this isn't a scam, I swear" and "but don't call the police to check."
First scammy thing I've gotten like that in quite a while... but this one pretty poor. I thought AI was supposed to help people make better emails for scams and shit?
