Discussion Ghiffa, takes his own life with a gunshot on the lake shore

An extreme act of desperation was made this afternoon, Sunday 10th, in Ghiffa. A sixty-year-old resident of the town took her own life by shooting herself while sitting on the bench near the monument dedicated to the fallen. The area is the lakeside, a place that he loved so much. He probably waited for the moment when no one was passing by to carry out the extreme gesture, given that there were no witnesses



A Red Cross ambulance and a Carabinieri patrol arrived on the scene but there was nothing left to do for the sixty-year-old. The area was closed to pedestrians during the time of carrying out the investigations and moving the body.

The bench has been covered in flowers since the afternoon. The children brought drawings and dedications on paper, attaching them to the trees near the bench that this gentleman loved so much.
