Getting ready

So everything's is almost ready for my CTB. I have my date, my method, my supplies are on the way, the hotel room is booked, and my family completely buys the lies that will allow me to drop off the grid for about 36 hours.

My method is SN and my date is January 5th, 2019.
As far as my family is concerned, I'm going to a party at my friend/coworkers house that night. She'll pick me up coz I don't drive (actually the Lyft to the hotel room), I'll crash at hers overnight (hotel) and she and I will both go to work the next afternoon (no more next days for me). I was going to book 2 nights at the hotel to be safe, but it's expensive. And really, I'm taking the SN at 9 pm...if I'm still alive or saveable by 11am checkout the next day I really fucked up.

This is my plan:

Jan 2: 20mg Primperan at 8pm, 200 mg Tagamet at noon and 8pm

Jan 3: 20mg Primperan at 4am, noon and 8pm, 200mg Tagamet at noon and 8pm

Jan 4: 20mg Primperan at 4am, noon and 8pm, 200mg Tagamet at noon and 8pm

Jan 5: 20mg Primperan at 4am, noon and 8pm, 200mg Tagame at noon, 800mg Tagamet at 8:20, then @9pm, 15gSN (about 2.5 tsp?) In 100ml of water (about half a cup?).

I'll fast after 9am on the 5th.
I wan to drink wine and have a bath before hand, but if I find out that interferes with something I won't.
If I can get my hands on benzos, I'll take those that night too, if not, then I won't.

I just feel better laying all that out and sharing my plan with someone... Hopefully I've made no errors. My only concern right now is my SN is arriving a day I'm not home, and I'm worried my mom will know what it is from the package??? But I have no control over that now....

I've heard that taking antiemetics days in advance doesn't actually make much of a difference. That's according to @gingerplum who is a nurse. Taking the acid reducers days in advance is necessary though, from what she told me.

Idk if it makes a difference or not, but I don't think it can hurt. I'd rather be safe than sorry, and if I have them, why not?

The SN will be here by the 26th. It's shipped and on it's way. Even if it's late it has ten extra days. I was already planning the do not disturb sign, but I'll probably stick to one night. SN would take a max of 8 hours to work (5am). Checkout isn't until 11. I don't think an extra night will help. My family would have also noticed I was missing and would have tracked my bank card to find me (they've done it before). If the SN doesn't work I'll take more, slit my wrists, or jump over Niagara falls lol

Thanks, I'll definitely keep people updated. If I can, I plan to be in the chat the night of as well. At this point, the 5th seems very far away. Planning for that day and lurking about on this site are pretty much the only things I can think about.

I'm glad if this can help you, but keep in mind I barely know what I'm doing. This is based of my research and advice others have given me, but I could still be fucking it up. Part of why I posted this in advance is so others can tell me if I'm being dumb. :)

You know more than many on this forum, does seem like this would work given your research. Only thing I would suggest rethinking is how long you should fast. 9am on the 5th does not sound like enough time to clear your system. Perhaps fasting for 24hrs would be wiser? Also taking ibuprofen for any possible pain beforehand.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been considering a longer fast (6 hours was recommended, but I'd rather be completely empty). The only problem is I live at home and have family visiting for the holidays, so I don't know how long I'll be able to fast. If I can do so without raising suspicions, I'll skip meals or tell them I'm feeling a bit queasy or something... I'll fast as long as I can.

The ibuprofen was suggested y someone else as well in leiu of benzos... That's probably a good idea.

No one has been able to tell me for sure if my idea of having wine a couple hours before SN would risk anything. Part of me wants to say, forget it, better to be safe than sorry, but part of me really wants to have a hot bath and drink beforehand, get a pleasant buzz going... Idk.

Okay. Fair enough. Someone told me I should take Tagamet leading up to my CTB day as well as the meto, and I just assumed it couldn't hurt, but I'm glad to find out ahead of time that it can. I'll only take the Tagamet @ 8:20 on the 5th then. Thank you very much for that information.

I was hoping that the wine would be OK but it doesn't surprise me that it isn't. However the article you shared does suggest alcohol might help, so maybe alcohol is okay, just not wine since it's so acidic? "Also, drinking alcohol provoke hypotension, so it's a good idea to drink a little alcohol beforehand." ? A google search told me gin, rum and vodka are the least acidic alcohols, so maybe one of those?

Specifically Tagamet doesn't work with the Primperan at all? Or just in the days before? Because everything I've read said to use those... The tagamet is just cimetidine...

On the link it suggests:

30-60 mg meto (more than I thought but that's fine) + 800mg cimetidine (which is all Tagamet is), then the benzo (assuming you're taking one) then 2tsp SN and 1/2 a cup of water.

So all I really need to change is to not take any Tagamet in the days before, and increase the Primperan the day of... right?? Unless I'm misunderstanding something which wouldn't surprise me tbh...

Thanks so much everyone for your input! With all of this in mind, this is my updated plan:

Jan 2: 20 mg Primperan at 8pm

Jan 3: 20mg Primperan at 4am, noon and 8pm

Jan 4: 20mg Primperan at 4am, noon and 8pm

Jan 5 (CTB Date):
- 20mg Primperan at 4am and noon
- 40mg Primperan at 8pm
- 800mg Tagamet at 8:20pm
- 400mg Ibuprofen PM at 8:40pm (?)
- 2 tsp SN in 1/2 cup water at 9pm

I'll fast after 9am on the 5th, and probably have some vodka or something beforehand...
Part of me is considering ditching the Primperan in the days before... I still can't tell if it's important or not. But w/e I'll probably take it anyway.
I'm also not sure what time to take the Ibuprofen PM because I want it to have time to kick in with the pain killers, but not to knock me out before I take the SN lol. I doubt its quite that strong though....
