After reading thread about funeral... I thought I'd ask does anyone have any specific requirements for their funeral, as in plans or music etc
I'll start I want a bottle of jack Daniels and a pack of Marlboro and a lighter in my coffin, just incase they have made a mistake.
And for music I want James - We're gonna miss you...

So she's wrong! It's perfectly legal to scatter ashes in a river.

I'm most worried about who will have to identify my body. I wish I could just do it with my passport and no-one would need to do that in person.

It's great, isn't it. I read another publication from Scotland which said suicidal thoughts are normal. It was the best publication I'd seen. I guess we shouldn't talk politics here, but there is a reason lots of people from England would rather live in Scotland!

The status of Kansas has more lenient laws about dealing with corpses. There is a company that is permitted to deep freeze the body and then they shatter it to crumbles. It's best for the environment.

I don't particularly want a funeral when I go, but I'm sure my family/friends will end up having one anyway. So in that case, I'd want everyone to have a good piss up on my behalf and pour one out for me.

Id like some Lewis Capaldi to be played, but then again in my letter so far I just wrote Id like for it to be simple and as inexpensive as possible. Ill be cremated and only a few people to come. depends also with this corona regime, how it will be when I finally ctb. I just dont want my family to worry with finding contacts in my phone so I will print out the numbers of my friends and lock my phone. I already deleted my facebook account as I dont want that to become a funeral platform.
So everything really basic.

I used to obsess about this, where I'd be buried. I wanted to be in my home town but it's too expensive. Or scattered somewhere that meant something to me. Now with the virus people can't have proper funerals, so it doesn't feel important anymore where or how they deal with me.

That would certainly make sense if you had experienced either the food or the weather!
