To be and to not be

hello everyone! So I've been watching alot of full suspension videos, and most of the time they seem like they haven't really planned it out. I feel like it's been over complicated and we worry about the pain and failing, like where to place the rope. For example next to your jaw, the rope will obviously go up on your neck as you are suspended.. so does the technique really matter? but most of the times they are unconscious within seconds… other times, like the Syrian girl video, she looks like she is struggling. I tell myself it's okay because I have endured more pain in this life than I will those few seconds, plus I won't be able to back out since I kicked the chair. What do you guys think? Does all that really matter?? I mean a good anchor and a good rope and your as good as done right? I think the biggest problem is coming into terms you are going to die, and you will feel pain.

Everyone wants to be as comfortable as possible. They want it to be peaceful and fast. It's not all possible. The truth is that while it's scary, you have to be committed to pain to die. What do those moments of pain matter in the end, when you will cease to exist?

I agree. Though life was not peaceful and fast, so I do not imagine death to be this way. We were made to think of death as something bad. Instead of kill or die, we use unalive because we are so scared to even comprehend this. I sometimes think about ixtab, how hanging was seen as a honorable way to die. Wish we could just be able to face it all.
